The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Parade has invited the Military Order of the Purple Heart members to the Rodeo parade in Downtown Fort Worth on for Saturday, January 13, 2024. Rally Time is 0800 am.  

The float we will be riding on is pulled by Clydesdales.  We can accomodate 40, and no more.  

Pre-Registration Information - 1. You Must Be a Purple Heart Recipient to register 2. If you are not a Purple Heart Recipient, we will NOT register you 3. Registration will be limited to Purple Heart Recipient and 1 guest 4. There is will be no accommodation for additional tickets 5. Please do not sign up if you cannot attend. 6.  TO BE ON THE FLOAT - WE NEED A RELEASE FORM- release form click here to download  -  please have this form filled out - 1 EACH FOR YOU AND YOUR GUEST - in order to ride on the float. You may send the form directly to Gus: moph.texas@gmail.com. No Waiver, you cannot ride on the float. 8. Children should be able to sit on a hay bale for more than an hour. There are no guard rails on the float - please no babies, or children under 5 years old.

*Pre Registration fee is $5.00 per person attending and is non-refundable.   More information in the details after signup.  Be courteous to your fellow patriots!    We have a limited amount of seats, and we will not be able to accomodate multiple sign-ups.  

DO NOT PRE REGISTER IF:

- You are not going to be able to go.

- You are not a purple heart recipient, do not sign up.  

- You are a NOT a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, but are a recipient of the Purple Heart, you will be asked to confirm your Purple Heart with a DD-214.  Gus Wittschack will be reaching out to you to confirm.  If you do not respond, you will NOT be allowed to ride.
