Military Order of the Purple Heart proudly designated the Texas Rangers the 1st MLB baseball team in the USA. Additionally the Globe Life Park / Field were designated as the 1st Purple Heart baseball fields in the USA. Our relationship to the Rangers is legendary.

Every year the Military Order of the Purple Heart attend the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Parade. We have designated the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo and Purple Heart Rodeo - the First in the USA.

Armed Forces Bowl is called the Bowl for the Brave, is the First Purple Heart Bowl Game in the USA. The game is played annually at TCU Amon Carter Stadium.

Feedstore BBQ is a designated Purple Heart Restaurant located in Southlake, TX. The Purple Heart designated this business as a Purple Heart Business in 2024

The City of Fort Worth, Texas was designated a Purple Heart City by Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 1513 DFW Midcities Chapter in 2018

Executive Outfitters and Patriot and Heroes Outdoors sponsored a dove hunt every October for Purple Heart Recipients. Many came from Military Order of the Purple Heart -Chapter 1513 DFW Mid Cities. The hunt is held at the 4-H Conference Center 5600 FM 3021 Brownwood , TX 76801

The City of Plano, Texas was designated a Purple Heart City on Monday November 12, 2018.
